Bepaald worden actuele pH, actueel bicarbonaat, base excess, pCO2, pO2, O2-saturatie, kalium, natrium, chloor, geïoniseerd calcium, glucose en lactaat.
Bij reanimatie wordt ook Hb bepaald.
